(Personal) Pencil Case Essentials

The most essential things that I carry in my pencil case

I don't like to carry that much in my pencil case mostly because it is fairly small. I just bring the things I truly need such as:

One mechanical pencil

Extra lead for my pencil

One rather large eraser

One gel pen
I prefer gel pens over any other pens.

A sharpener just in case
I like to draw so I use this if I'm bringing some graphite or charcoal pencils when I'm drawing in my art class.

A stylus
Sometimes I like to draw on my iPad or iPhone.

A few paint brushes
I bring the 4 most used brushes I use for painting, along with my travel sized watercolor case. I paint a lot more than I draw now.

It's not cute or anything glamorous. It's just the main things I need to keep with me at all times during school.

Nature

So Fridays are usually the best day out of the week because the weekend and there isn't any school the next day. Thank you higher power.

Having close friends that live in a walking distance is really sweet.

I had a nice, chill day with a few friends. It was trippy too. Cops, etc. but other than that, the vibes were awesome. I'm glad I live in a small, yet beautiful community. It has nice sidewalks with trees and I love the sight if nature in the evenings. I felt like I wanted to wander through a forest.

It made me feel at peace and also made me appreciate nature so much more than I already do. It's beautiful. Life can suck so bad, but the beauty of nature really makes life a lot more hopeful.

Thanks nature you rock

L'oréal's Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black

I am absolutely religious about this mascara. It's meant to lengthen your lashes and boy does it do the job!

This mascara is around $12-$14 I think, but it is worth the splurge!

I've been using this mascara for a couple of years now and it never disappoints! I've used other mascaras here and there, but I always come back to this one every single time.

It has an interesting brush that doesn't really seem like a brush at all.

The thing about this mascara is that you need A LOT of coats to get that falsies look. It gets pretty messy so I suggest you use an old credit card, index card, or (like me) a cut out piece of this thing which I have no idea what it's called but it works!

It's really liquidy and can get pretty messy if you don't protect your eyelids.
Other than that, your lashes will look extremely long and you can really build it by applying more coats!

Examples to see what your lashes would possibly look here's a few of my selcas using this mascara

Depending on the way you put on mascara will vary the result, but they will always end up looking quite long and they will stand out!

Bare Minerals Ready Touch Up Veil

I've ALWAYS been a Bare Minerals kind of girl. I've been using their foundations, setting powders, illuminators, blush, etc., since I first started wearing makeup (around 14 years old).

My color is Medium Beige. It goes with my skin so perfectly! You don't need a lot of product because a little goes a LONG way. And I use it as a double for concealer!

Yes, the foundation is very much on point, but my T-zone gets very oily through out the day no matter the weather. So it's very important for me to always touch up. No one likes a shiny, oily face. IT'S NOT CUTE. So their somewhat "new" compact is THE MOST USEFUL product I have ever used. Honestly, I could go on without foundation and just use this baby! It really does make me feel more secure and put together.

The packaging is very simple and clean.
And what draws me to it is that the compact has a matte case to coincide with the matte product.

The compact in medium is still a setting powder, but it has color so it blends in better into your skin as opposed to the translucent one.

I've been using is the translucent one A LOT. I carry it with me everywhere. (You can tell by how worn out it looks right now). It really does save my life. This product has given me confidence boost whenever I use it. The reassurance that it literally has me covered without making my face feel caked.

I love it so much, but since I purchased the one in medium, I feel it's better for me since it is still summer where I live, the translucent does make my face a little pasty. It's best to use this one during the cooler seasons.

The price is around 22-23 U.S dollars. Trust me it is an adequate price for a product like this. It really is worth a splurge! I'm pretty sure you can purchase these products on eBay for cheaper.

Nature's Therapy Deep Conditioner by L'oréal

Deep conditioning is AN ABSOLUTE MUST for people who have dry, damaged, and/or chemically processed hair (i.e perms, coloring, bleaching, any heat being applied on a regular basis, etc.).

Damaged hair IS DEFINITELY NOT ATTRACTIVE IN ANY WAY. Deep conditioning helps restore you hair and replenish it with natural oils and other great stuff!

The one I use is l'oreal sunflower seed oil.

IT SMELLS REALLY GOOD!
Almost like apples!

It gave me better, shinier hair. My hair is A LOT softer than it was before. Naturally, my hair is very coarse and dry, but when I use this product, it gives my hair a much silkier feel and little to no tangles!

My hair has had the awful history of multiple chemical straight perms, bleaching, coloring, and flat ironing.

Just apply this creamy goodness, concentrating on your ends first,  and then work your way up your hair.

Leave it on for 2-5 minutes or longer. Apply medium heat via hair dryer for extra deel conditioning; make sure you cover it with a plastic bag or saran wrap.

It's meant for chemically processed, damaged hair. Basically, it's made especially for me! If you want healthier feeling hair plus a silky boost you need to try this out. Find it in your local salon stores like Sally's. It's quite a splurge but it is most defiantly worth it.

Novice Blogger Greet

Hello fellow readers! My name is Gaby. I've finally made a blog. I'll start off by doing reviews and such on products I recommend, don't recommend, music, circle lens, some personal things, etc. Although, I might be dedicating this blog for reviews for circle lens since I have been asked by lenscircle.com to do some reviews on their lens. Anyway, I hope I can become one with this blogging world.
Adieu!
